Community Blog Topic: Which faction’s story would you like to see more of?

This week’s community blog topic is another good one. On the surface it is a slam dunk, an easy answer for me. Because Magni Bronzebeard edges out Prophet Velen for being a more compelling faction leader, I picked him as my favorite faction leader. I probably love the dwarves and draenei equally. To be honest, I am not as good at finding lore in game as most players might be. I have been reading wowpedia and of course the battlenet stories from time to time.

The Great Forge, Ironforge city.

I love me some dwarves though. Call them generic or a fantasy trope, I love them. I love being around them. I love all their zones. Ironforge is my favorite city. Their starter area is pretty weak on lore.  So is the following zone in Dun Morogh. There is some decent lore in the Uldaman dungeon (shhhh! it’s better now that you can see where you are going!)

I would like to know more about the clans, especially the council of three hammers. I wasn’t around in Classic when Moira was taken away and had to be rescued (and subsequently said Eff You). The quests in Twilight Highlands to reunite the clans were great. I would like to know more though. Why are they where they are. It would have been amazing to have helped Magni forge the Ashbringer. I think this would make a cool Caverns of Time dungeon or scenario. Perhaps the lorewalkers can come to the old world and clue us in.
