Twice and gone

Twice and gone

2-13-14

I know now what it feels inside

When the fire that burned so bright has died

When a boy turned into a man

Still hide behinds his brother’s plan

Fool me once and it’s shame on you

Fool me twice and the blame’s on me

Fire and ice and the earth collides

Think twice before you tell me lies

I know now how the story ends

I feel the burn and I want to mend

There’s a gaping hole, the trust is gone

You speak the same sad, tired song

Fool me once and it’s shame on you

Fool me twice and the blame’s on me

Trusted once, looks like I was wrong

Once too much now twice and gone
