Sayonara

Sayonara

1-27-15

Farewell my friend.

I will see you, but not for a while.

I hope you are doing OK.

Your journey is quite different now.

I wish I could be there or take your place.

Sometimes life just isn’t fair.

You had a lot, I have still to gain.

So much knowledge, wisdom and strength.

I keep your spirit close to me.

Your qualities will not be forgotten.

I’m still inspired by what you have done.

My brother, I hope to draw on your strength.

When the day comes, in which we reunite.

I hope I live up to half of what you were.

Goodbye for now. Winter is here.

But spring follows close.
