Welcome back to Imagine! This time, we are taking a look at an idea I have had on different levels, for a while now. Leveling paths.
Leveling paths are different ways to get to endgame. Right now, it’s questing, dungeons or PvP. PvP getting the short end of the stick. You can also gather and just grind out mobs. Pet Battling is kind of viable. I did it through most of Pandaria. What if Blizzard truly gave us different paths to take?
Bounties– I have this whole idea about bounties and Blizzard actually does it to some degree with the garrison quests that send you out to kill a big bad. It could be an NPC, a world boss or a specific group of mobs. I would make these daily or weekly quests that scale up with your level.
PvP– I have a plan for this too. We need more PvP quests/bounties/raids on capital cities. I would absolutely have different faction leaders every week/month. Bonus weekends for honor (which they will be doing soon).
Pet Battling– Sure you can do this now, but how about dailies to capture certain pets/different rarity/skill levels.
Professions– More in depth quests to craft things for people in different cities. Work orders you can do for NPCs or other players.
Mentoring– This could be a great way for players to earn gold/rewards/experience by taking a small group of players under their wing to help them learn about WoW. It would apply to all facets of the game. From questing to PvP and everything in between.
Most of these ideas are geared towards veteran players, but I think new players would benefit too. Especially with the Mentoring path.
