No apology

No apology

The truth has all but spilled out

Strong like an ocean tide

Sweeping sand along the shorline

So much debris left behind

All the facts may never see daylight

Buried beneath lawyer speak

Those with unjust motives

Now fade to black, retreat

There’s no blazing sunset

No sung lullaby

A life resumes some normalcy

No apology

There’s no vindication

Two victims and one crime

Proof sinks to the murky bottom

All forgotten with time
