Week 6 is here and if your team is like mine this season, you might need some help from the waiver wire. My team is in dire straits as my record plummets to 1-4. AC/DC might not be able to save me.
QB: Blake Bortles, Jaguars- Had a nice game, throwing 4 TDs. Bortles has a slight sprain in his right shoulder, so take that into consideration.
RB: The Kansas City RB situation- As you all may know, Jamaal Charles suffered his 2nd ACL injury on Sunday. If you don’t have Knile Davis, you might want to pay close attention to the KC news/reports. Charcandrick West actually looked good running on Sunday vs the Bears, but Andy Reid mentioned De’Anthony Thomas could move back to RB from WR. Thomas is a very speedy back and could do some damage catching out of the backfield.
WR: Tedd Ginn Jr., Panthers- Ginn Jr. is basically the 2nd target for Cam Newton. While, he hasn’t been a super-productive WR1, he is definitely a solid WR3 who should continue to soak up targets the rest of the season. He just came off bye-week so you won’t have to worry about that going forward.
Anquan Bolden, 49ers- Yeah, I was hesitant to list this guy or any 49er. I wouldn’t start him vs any team with a decent 2nd CB. He should do OK vs bottom tier defenses.
TE: Jacob Tamme, Falcons- With the injury to Leonard Hankerson, Tamme could see and increased workload. New Orleans is 30th vs the TE, so he could have another decent week, especially if Hankerson is limited/out.
D/ST: Steelers- They have a tough matchup this week vs Arizona, who are not real kind to opposing D/STs. If you can afford to stash them, they should produce further down their schedule.
