1st and 5

Week 7 is already upon us. The season is moving fast. Hopefully your team is doing great. Unlike my team which is doing not so great. Remember to be good to yourself, nobody else will.

QB: Matthew Stafford, Lions- If your league is among the 39% that gave up on him, you might want to revisit that. He got really healthy vs my Bears on Sunday, throwing for 400 yards and 4 TDs.

Brian Hoyer, Texans- Brian Hoyer is becoming a solid QB option. He is taking advantage of DeAndre Hopkins, which is nice.

RB: James Starks, Packers- It won’t help you this week because Green Bay is on a bye, but he is clearly the better RB at this point. Lacy could very well heal up and come back to start. At this point in the season, it might be good to hang onto Starks if your roster can allow it.

WR: Danny Amendola, Patriots- It’s always dangerous with this guy. He has a good game and you think for some odd reason it might be the sign of things to come. Then he disappears or gets injured. With Edelman dinged up, he might get more looks.

Michael Floyd, Cardinals- Floyd has had a tough year, starting out injured and trying to work his way back in the lineup. Josh Brown has also cut into his workload. Carson Palmer is flinging it pretty good right now so there could be room for both.

TE: Benjamin Watson, Saints- It might have been a flash in the pan, but you can’t ignore 10 receptions for 127 yards and a TD. With lack of production for many TEs, the reward is worth the risk.

D/ST: Eagles- I picked this team up on the only week they did not score double digits out of the last 4. Of course I dropped them after they gave me 2 points. They scored 12 and 17 points the last two weeks. If they are on your waiver wire, pick them up.

Don’t forget Gary Barnidge! Cleveland is going to keep throwing, even with Turbin back in the rotation.
