This week’s Tavern Brawl is: Captain Blackheart’s Treasure! Each turn open up a treasure chest and pick one of three cards to put in your hand. Sounds fantastic!
First you pick your hero, then you get a deck full of premade goodness. Something like that. It seems you start out with as many Pirate’s as your hand will allow (3 or 4, if you get the extra card). This is a really great brawl for newer players (or players with a limited library of cards) because 1) it’s a premade deck, and 2) you get to pick 1 out of 3 cards each hand, which is pretty neat.
It’s a really, really fun brawl and the best part may be, you pick your class, so it should count for any class-related dailies you may have. So, jump on in and test your mettle!

I tried Warlock before I realized the whole deck is pirates…
Yeah. I found that out too. Was very disappointed at that. I suppose that would make the matches more imbalanced.
This is quite a slow brawl.
It is worth noting that you don’t draw cards from your deck (unless you get a draw card) so anything that puts cards into the deck (such as Beneath the grounds, Forgotten Torch, Ancient Shade) may be a lot more/less useful than normal.
I only played a few matches, but I think all the card draws are the same 2/3 pirate minion. At least they were for my Warlock.
