Stay in the game

Stay in the game

We fight. We don’t know why. We reach. Impossibly high. We cling. To anything, to pull ourselves up, after a fall.

It hurts. Bloodied and bruised. We push. To the moment of truth. We live. To compete, the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat.

Line up your target. Hit ’em hard. Let them know, you’re gonna go far. All the way to the end.

You get knocked down. You get back up. Stay in the game, even when it’s rough. Life is hard. The hardest of all.

  1. My son, a wrestler and football player, would really appreciate this.
