Checking you out

Checking you out

6-11-15

Summertime air, living without a care, digging the vibe you are putting out there.

Only one chance, I feel it slipping away, I don’t want to make a mistake, is it too late?

Did I read you wrong, or was it just the song, too much alcohol, am I that far gone?

Checking you out, to see if you are real, to see if your eyes reflect the way that I feel.

Summertime breeze, and I’m weak in the knees, falling for you with the greatest of ease.

Only one shot, can I make it or not? I don’t want to miss, all I want is a kiss.

Did I play it too strong, or did you lead me on? I silence my doubt, but time’s running out.

Checking you out, to see if you are real, to see if your eyes reflect the way that I feel.
