Week 6 is here. Team banged up? Players on a bye week? I’ll put a little ‘fixin’ on your team, and get you right as the mail.
QB: Marcus Mariota, Titans- Mariota has had a slow start to 2016, but he had a real nice game vs Miami and has the Browns, Colts, and Jaguars coming up all at home. Keep an eye on: Brian Hoyer, Bears- Hoyer has put up 3 300+ games in a row.
RB: Cameron Artis-Payne, Panthers- The 2nd year RB finally broke out. His success might be dampened by Jonathan Stewart coming back, but hamstrings are tricky. Keep an eye on: Matt Asiata, Vikings- The Vikings are off this week, but Asiata is back to his TD scoring ways.
WR: Sammie Coats, Steelers- I think Coats has finally separated himself as the #2 guy behind Antonio Brown. Last two weeks he has caught 6 passes each game and broke the endzone 2 times vs the Jets. Keep an eye on: Brandon LaFell, Bengals- Much like Coats, LaFell looks to be the legit #2 opposite AJ Green.
TE: Jesse James, Steelers- I have been watching James since pre-season. While he has 3 TDs, he has only had a handful of passes thrown his way. He caught 6 passes vs the Jets and is becoming a go-to target in the Redzone. If you didn’t snag Hunter Henry, Chargers- go get him. At the very least stash him for a rainy day.
D/ST: Falcons- Their D/ST has put up 10, 9, and 10 points the last 3 weeks. They have a tough matchup at the Seahawks this week, but after that should be a solid play until their week 11 bye.
