Cast the first stone

Cast the first stone

10-11-16

You who are without sin, pure in your heart

You who are righteous with every breath

You who stand undaunted, untouched by evil

Cast the first stone, cast the last stone

For every man, for every woman, for every babe who cries

Cast the first stone, cast the last stone

For every person who is oppressed

Cast the first stone

For every liar, for every thief, for the politicians who make us all kneel

Cast the first stone, cast the last stone

If however you are not so righteous, you are not so pure

Hold on to your judgments, hold on to your words

If however you are not so clean, if you have sinned

Hold onto your anger, hold onto your fear

Ask for forgiveness, ask for the strength, ask for the patience

We are not alone, we are not all stone
