Week 7 is here, the season is almost half over. Big Ben will be out a few weeks with a knee injury. This might shake things up a bit. The Packers traded for Knile Davis. 2-3 years ago, this might have been something. If your team is not doing so well, take solace in a few words from Corey Hart: (never mind that he is Canadian)
QB: Alex Smith, Chiefs- He is only 37% owned in ESPN leagues, and he’s going up vs the Saints. Keep an eye on: Dak Prescott, Cowboys- he is on a bye week, but has been pretty consistent.
RB: Jay Ajayi, Dolphins- Seems like he had a little bit of a day vs the Steelers. Whether or not he will be consistent is probably irrelevant at this point. If you don’t snag him, perhaps one of the Vikings RBs are still available?
WR: Kendall Wright, Titans- Not sure where he’s been; recovering from a hamstring I guess. He was the main main last week when Mariota hit him up for 8 receptions, 133 yards receiving and a score. No clue if he will keep it up, but it’s worth a flyer at this point. Kenny Brit and Golden Tate might be worth adding if they are available.
TE: CJ Fiederowicz, Texans- I am not going to pretend I know who this dude is–but he seems to be getting targets, receptions, yards, and scored 2 TDs in the last 3 weeks. Brock Osweiler seems to like him, and that’s good enough for me.
D/ST: The Chiefs D/ST is sitting on the waiver wire in my league and is only 55% owned in ESPN leagues. If you look at what they have done each week, you see why. Outside of a 30 point week, their 9 point output at the Raiders last week is the only other time they have scored more than 4 points. Still, they have the potential, and some soft matchups in the next few weeks. Pickens are Slim.
