Week 10 is upon us. How is your team doing? Are you down in the dumps or on Easy Street? Maybe there is something I can help you with.
QB: Carson Wentz, Eagles- If your league is like mine, he got dropped a while back. He has struggled mightily since the league caught up to him. Fortunately, he’s going up vs the Atlanta Falcons who have given up 8 TDs in the last two weeks. If he was ever going to snap out of it, it’s this week. If Marcus Mariota, Titans- is available, grab him. He’s owned in 67% of ESPN leagues. If you need a QB for more than a week, might be time to trade for one.
RB: Tim Hightower, Saints- Hightower stepped in last year and was pretty productive when Ingram went down. Problem is Ingram just had a productive day vs San Francisco. At worst, it looks like it will be RBBC (Running back by committee) the rest of the way. If you are desperate, this move is for you. Kapri Bibbs, Broncos- might be someone to watch.
WR: Rishard Matthews, Titans- The Titans seem like they found their air-attack in recent weeks. Consistency is going to be the issue here. They will need lots of points vs the Packers. Other than vs the Broncos, they have good to very good matchups the rest of the way.
TE: Cameron Brate, Buccaneers- He is just productive enough to take notice, and just productive enough to kill you in any given week. Slim Pickens at the tight end position. Vance McDonald, 49ers- might be worth a look with Kapernick behind center.
D/ST: Jets, Bears- Both teams have good matchups this week. Jets going up vs the Rams who have given up the 2nd most points to D/ST. Bears going up vs the Bucs who are ranked 26th vs D/ST.
Sorry, not sorry for the song!
